Description

Note: We have sold Living Clay products for the past few years. In 2009, our supplier streamlined their products and changed the company name from Therapeutic Living Clay to The Living Clay Company. What was originally Dry Powder Clay is now called Dry Detox Powder. The Cleansing Clay mask has also been called Hydrated Clay. Same excellent products, different name.

Living Clay is a calcium-based, all-natural Bentonite Clay of the Montmorillonite/Smectite group. Unlike other clays, only Smectites can absorb and adsorb. It is characterized by its expandable properties. Living Clay is often referred to as a green swelling clay.

This rare natural desert clay, obtained from a sub-surface mine in California, has been protected from leaching by the climate. In addition, this particular clay deposit was sealed away and isolated from the natural elements by a cap of zeolite minerals for forty-three million years.

Because its adsorptive properties have not been compromised by air or ground water contaminants, this highly-charged, all-natural Calcium Bentonite Clay has a drawing power of 33 times its molecular weight. Its extremely strong adsorptive and absorptive properties make it ideal for use in deep cleansing, clarifying of the skin, facial masks, body wraps, detoxification and many other uses.

Living Clay has a 9.7 pH, is odorless, highly energized and is a 325 screen mesh, making it hydrate to a smooth non-gritty consistency like thick, creamy pudding.

Clays capable of exchanging ions are called Living Clays or Active Clays. Clays' ability to absorb and adsorb directly affect their efficacy rate. Green swelling clays from the Montmorillonite/Smectite group are known as healing clays because of this trait. According to Raymond Dextreit, an expert on clays and author of the book, Our Earth, Our Cure, the green family of clays is the most desirable all-purpose healing clay.

Clay is a catalyst that assists the body in detoxification and in removing positive-charged ions from the body. In turn, Living Clay creates a better platform for the body to begin healing itself. It propels the immune system to a healthy balance and strengthens the body to a higher point of resistance to all that attacks it. Secondly, it acts as a stimulus and as such increases circulation. Thirdly, it balances the body’s pH.

It is also important that the clay be pure, clean and natural and direct from the source mine. A subsurface mine has been protected from the natural elements. Most clays that claim to be 100% pure have been cleaned using either a heat process or a hydration process to wash out impurities. Both processes can take a 95% pure clay to a 100% pure state, but in doing so reduce the efficacy from around 15 to 1 down to 5 to 1. In their attempt to make a purity claim, they are actually destroying the natural healing properties. Read labels carefully for any notation of the clay having been cleaned, processed, filtered, recharged or tampered with in any fashion other than milling.

The ionic charge of pure, natural Calcium Bentonite Clay is 100% negative. This unique clay adsorbs and absorbs (Characteristics of the Smectite Family of clays) positive-charged ions in a similar fashion. Most everything that attacks our bodies –- bacteria, parasites, virals, fungi, diseases, toxic chemicals, etc. –- is of a positive ionic charge. The beauty of Living Clay is that it is blind. It doesn’t know an eczema molecule from a staph bacteria molecule, or a viral molecule. What it does know is a positive charge. When clay is taken internally, because of its large surface area and negative charge, it dominates positive-charged particles (toxins and bacteria) . . . drawing them to it and carrying them out of the body. Calcium Bentonite Clay literally removes positive-charged molecules that attack our bodies from our bodies on a daily basis, if taken daily.

Many people are concerned about natural metals in clays. Metals in clays are never in isolated form and are not adsorbed into the body. Therefore, the metals in a clays' make-up are not harmful, as the body does not digest them. This is why clay is known first and foremost as a strong, safe detoxifier. For clays with a high pH, it is also known as a balancer . . . bringing the body to a balanced state. Most people are naturally on the acidic side, and acidity is the breeding ground for bacteria and diseases.

What keeps the immune system running is the energy that feeds it, the substance of life. The body will not run well, or will at least run with all sorts of mechanical problems, when there is no energy to support it. Therefore, in order to create health, the body must be stimulated and re-stimulated by another working energy like Living Clay. When the immune system does not function at its best, the clay stimulates the body’s inner resources to awaken the stagnant energy. It supplies the body with the available magnetism to run well.

There are today many other technologies available for testing various clays. Most are very expensive. Kinesiology is a widely-accepted practice, and a BodyTalk System practitioner can test your body's response to several different clays. For verifying results of metal contamination, I recommend Hair Analysis and the Melisa Test, a blood test for metal sensitivity. The Melisa Test measures your immune system’s (lymphocyte) activation when exposed to specific heavy metals.

Usage

There are five primary treatment modalities with Clay.

Dry Powder Application
The dry powder Calcium Bentonite Clay application is the most basic. Simply apply dry powder by hand in the amount indicated by the treatment modality.

Poultice (Clay Pack)
To make a poultice, mix the dry powder Clay into a heavy paste. Use approximately 1 part Clay to 1 - 1-1/2 parts water. Stir thoroughly with a wooden or plastic spoon (do not use metal). Allow to sit for several hours until the water is completely assimilated with the clay. Spread a thick layer of the clay paste onto a piece of cloth or gauze. Apply to the affected area. Repeat as indicated.

Hydrated Topical Application
To mix the dry powder of a swelling clay into a hydrated state, mix 1 part clay with 3 parts water depending on the Clay you are using. A good swelling Clay usually has a 1 to 3 ratio. Allow to stand a minimum of 2 hours. Mix thoroughly until a creamy consistency, similar to sour cream. This can be applied topically by hand to any part of the body, from a facial to a full body wrap.

Liquid Drink
To mix the liquid ingestible form of the Clay, mix one part Clay to 10 parts water. Use a juice bottle or sports bottle. Shake vigorously for 3-5 minutes or until the Clay remains suspended in the water. Let stand for about 1 hour and again shake vigorously for a second time. Shake again before each use.

Another alternative used by many is to stir, with a plastic or wooden spoon, 1 heaping teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of dry powder clay into an 8 oz. glass of water and drink it.

Clay Bath
A clay bath can be prepared in two fashions. Pour 32-64 ounces (a quart to a half-gallon) of prepared liquid clay directly into hot running bath water and stir by hand. Secondly, if using dry powder Clay, turn the tap full open and hand cast 1-2 cups or more, depending on what you want to accomplish, of the Clay under the water tap. Stir by hand for a minute or so. Continue until dissolved, or get in the tub and continue stirring as the tub fills until fully dissolved.

Questions & Comments

Q: Are there any precautions when using the Clay if someone is taking prescription medications?

A: If you are under a physician’s care for a chronic ailment, taking life-supporting pharmaceutical medications or medications containing metals, please consult with your health care practitioner prior to using Clay. The Clay can pull the metals from your body and reduce the efficacy of these life-supporting pharmaceutical medications. Perry A.

Q: How safe is it to continue ingesting Clay over a long period of time?

A: Clay works best when taken over a long period of time. That’s because its actions are subtle. Like a snowball rolling down the hill, it starts off small and slow. As it continues to roll, it soon picks up momentum and goes faster. Clay does not offer instant cures for all ailments, but history shows it can encourage the body to put up a better fight when taken over a long period of time.

When Clay is taken for indefinite periods of time, it has no addictive qualities. This is a big concern for many who begin eating the Clay. The effects can be so positive that it scares them into thinking they might need it forever. However, one can quite eating Clay at any time. There are no withdrawal symptoms. Perry A.

Q: Is this something I’ll have to take the rest of my life?

A: You can discontinue any time, but why not take something that is good and will help clean out your body? Especially in today’s highly-polluted world, the liver and kidneys are so overworked they never have a chance to rest. Taking a spoonful of Calcium Bentonite Clay every day helps keep the mind and body functioning at optimal level. Perry A.

Q: I understand that sometimes when the body begins to cleanse itself, the symptoms become worse before they get better. Will this happen when ingesting the Clay?

A: As part of the healing process, the body will begin to discard toxic residues which have built up in the body over the years. During the initial phase of healing, as your body begins to clean house (detoxify) and your vital energy begins to repair and rebuild internal organs, you may experience a healing crisis.

You may feel worse before you feel better. As you continue to improve, you may begin a process called retracing. For example, if you used to get skin rashes, the rashes may appear or get worse for a period of time as your body eliminates toxins through the skin. You may also experience an initial increase in urination, or you may feel more nervous. In actuality, you are not getting worse, you will reach a plateau of better health. Perry A.

Q: What is the procedure that you used to help get rid of spider veins using the TLClay? Do you apply it in a paste at night? Do you let it dry and then put on socks? I also have them around my ankles and would love for them to diminish or disappear.

Answer: The procedure is so simple . . . First make sure you get the right Calcium Bentonite Clay for your treatment . . . most preferable is the Pure powder form and mix it yourself with water until you get a creamy form suitable to apply a layer that stays there.

Second . . . Wash your feet & ankles with warm water by scrubbing your ankles with soap to get rid of any oily surface on the skin.

Third . . . Apply Clay around your ankles with a layer about 2 mm thick. Make sure that all areas with spider veins have been covered. You may even spread more Clay around them in non-infected areas on your feet and ankles. I do not recommend using socks. Just leave the area uncovered to dry. The only thing to do is to wear shorts or whatever leaves your ankles fully exposed.

Fourth . . . Leave the Clay to dry. It may take a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes according to climate and thickness. After the Clay is dry, leave it for about 15 minutes and re-wet it by simply dipping your hands in warm water and smoothly (very smoothly) massaging the area with Clay (not for real massage, but just for wetting the Clay again ) and repeat again. This session may take about 45 minutes. I usually spend it either reading or watching TV, but don't usually sleep with Clay on my ankles although there is no harm in doing so. After the session, wearing socks or not in this case makes no difference. After you are done, wash with warm water and that's it.

I do this daily. You hopefully will start getting results from the fifth session or maybe the fourth day depending on the case. It works best if you use distilled water. Perry A. Note: We recommend using your Prill/Cosmic/Stirwand water for this procedure to enhance its effects.

Q: I'm interested in knowing more about how I might treat my 2 cats and 1 dog for parasites, and other possible needs. What type of clay and what dosage? Anon.

A: Clay is so good for pets and ridding them of internal parasites. You can put some powder clay in their water, but it mostly sinks to the bottom. A neat trick is to get a syringe (without the needle) and suck some of the premixed clay water (1 to 8 ratio of clay to water) into it and hold them and gradually inject it into their mouth. You can't do clay wrong, so don't worry about how much, though for kittens a teaspoon would be fine. Bigger pets more. Do it every other day for a week. Then off a week and on a week for several months to get the unhatched parasite eggs out.

Usually you will notice white specks in the feces, and your pet will be friskier. You can brush their teeth with clay also, and of course use it on cuts and rashes topically. Good for horses too. We recommend the Living Clay but Pascalite might work equally well. The Living Clay has a high pH and is milled very fine. Since it swells to three times its mass, it has more volume for drawing out impurities and toxins. Perry Smith

Q: I read your book, Living Clay. It's fantastic, and I have just started using the Clay, which I got from Libby. I just had a couple of questions that I need to clarify. I don't particularly want to take psyllium husks if I don't have to. I have started the clay, and I don't seem to have a problem with being constipated. I am drinking plenty of water. It's just that I was told by somebody who has been on Bentonite before that you need to have the psyllium as otherwise it can remain in your bowel and cause problems.

1. Do I have to have the psyllium or will I be fine without it?
2. If I am taking Chinese herbs, should I wait 4 hours to use the psyllium?

3. I have just been diagnosed with gastritis . . . how much liquid Bentonite should I take?
Looking forward to hearing from you. H.D., AUS

A: Remember all clays are different. I have been taking this clay daily for about six years with no problems, only benefits. Possibly the other clay was a very gritty clay, therefore, the precaution. If you should choose to take the psyllium husks with the clay, after a week pause a few days and rebuild your intestinal flora. Otherwise, just keep on keeping on with clay.

This Clay is very good for any kind of intestinal disorders. It has a 9.7 pH, and it is a BALANCER for the body. As for as the herbs . . . I am sure it will depend on the function of them. If you have a doubt, wait a few hours so there is time for the body to absorb one before taking the other.

Whenever I have had gastritis or any intestinal problems, I would start with an ounce of Clay water twice a day, and over a couple of days build to three times a day. If you are still having symptoms, increase to 2 oz 3 x's a day. Thanks for sharing your concerns. Remember, this is no ordinary clay. Enjoy your clay experience. She is a magnificent lady of amazing results. Perry A~

A Solution for Bedsores and Diabetic Sores

Pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers are a serious problem for our elderly bed-ridden population. Weak and immobile pressure points develop in areas that support most of the body's weight and the constant pressure cuts off the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the area necessary for healthy skin and tissues repair.

Bedsores (pressure ulcers), also known as pressure sores or decubitus ulcers, result from prolonged pressure that cuts off the blood supply to the skin, causing the skin and other tissue to die. The damage may occur in as little time as 12 hours of pressure, but it might not be noticed until days later when the skin begins to break down. The skin is especially likely to develop pressure sores if it is exposed to rubbing (friction) and moving the skin in one direction and the body in another (shear), as in sliding down when the head of the bed is raised. Dampness (such as from perspiration or incontinence) makes the skin even more liable to develop pressure sores.

The solution is calcium Bentonite clay straight from Mother Earth's Pharmacy. So what is this clay and how can it help?  Living Clay is an all-natural and very pure calcium Bentonite clay evolved from volcanic ash. In other words, it is the core of Mother Earth with all the impurities burnt out. Nothing is left but tightly-bound trace minerals with a strong electromagnetic charge that resonates to stimulate circulation, blood flow and oxygen to rebuild damaged tissues and cellular repair. Clays have a strong negative ionic charge and are considered a very powerful drawing agent. It is a catalyst that works with the body.  In addition, Living Clay has a 9.7 pH and is homeostatic. It works with the body to bring about balance and equilibrium.

It is a natural detoxing and cleansing agent. It draws toxins, viruses, molds, fungi, chemicals, heavy metals and even pesticides and poisons from the body through internal and external means.  The beauty of clay is that it holds and binds what it draws and then carries it out of the body. The cleansing effect is very gentle, yet it can pull out old dried fecal matter that has lodged in the colon that hinders the absorption of nutrients, vitamins and even medications. In addition it will draw out many parasites and carry them out of the body.

Topically, clay's drawing power pulls blood flow, circulation and oxygen necessary to heal ulcer wounds. Clay can and has stopped many needless amputations from diabetic ulcers. Most women have had a clay facial and experienced the firming and tightening as the clay dries and pulls out impurities and removes the dead skin cells, revealing a soft and glowing skin.

Pressure ulcers can be treated two ways; as a poultice or just apply the dry powder clay directly on the wound several times a day.

An important fact to know about clay is that all clays are different in their mineral composition and what they will accomplish. Since most clays have been used for commercial purposes, they may not be a pure, clean grade. For information on selecting a clay go to www.AboutClay.com for the article Criteria for Selecting a Quality Healing Clay.

Freshen Up

Sprinkle Dry Detox Powder Clay in your shoes at night to absorb the odor from wearing shoes with no socks in the summertime. The bottom of the feet have large sweat glands that contribute to summertime stinky shoes. Also sprinkle clay in your pet's sleeping area. And, of course a dish of dry powder clay in an old refrigerator that has been closed and unused for an extended period of time will deodorize it.

The Clay Cure

When clay is consumed, its vital force is released into the physical body and mingles with the vital energy of the body, creating a stronger, more powerful energy in the host. The natural magnetic action transmits a remarkable power to the organism and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy. When the immune system does not function at its best, the clay stimulates the body's inner resource to awaken the stagnant energy. It supplies the body with the available magnetism to run well. Clay is said to propel the immune system to find a new healthy balance and strengthens the body to a point of higher resistance."

Naturally absorbent and extremely gentle on the system, clay can treat ailments affecting digestion, circulation, menstruation, and the liver, skin, and prostate. Clay also remedies symptoms of arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, gum diseases, and migraines. The Clay Cure contains complete and up- to-date information on choosing the appropriate type and form of clay, how and when to take it for your specific complaint, the science and history of ingesting clay, and the value of minerals contained in the many varieties of clay.

Ran Knishinsky says that he eats clay everyday, that it is part of his diet. He never skips a day without eating clay. On page 95 he suggests the following : infants: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon (in a bottle), Small frame: one teaspoon, Medium frame: one heaping teaspoon, Large frame: one tablespoon.

Clay provides an impressive assortment of minerals, including calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, sulfur, manganese, and silica as well as trace elements-those appearing in very tiny amounts. Without the basic minerals, life cannot exist; without the trace minerals, major deficiencies will develop. The lack of either will make it impossible for the body to maintain good health.

The Clay Cure by Ron Knishinsky

The Wonders of Living Clay

If you have never used Living Clay –- Calcium Bentonite Clay -- prepare to be amazed. No, I mean really amazed. If you give some to a friend, they will call after they have used it to excitedly tell you of their marvelous experience with this Biblical Manna from Mother Earth. Statements like ‘my acne cleared up noticeably after one application, my poison Ivy stopped itching immediately and was gone in two days, an eczema spot I have had since childhood on which I've spent a fortune was completely gone in 3-4 weeks, I threw out my dangerous, side-effect ladened Nexium and prescriptions for acid reflux, after less than a month on this heaven sent clay many of the symptoms that were racking my body from exposure to Agent Orange have disappeared completely. I promise clay will always be a daily part of my diet.” These are just a few of the comments about Therapeutic Living Clay.

Clay has a multitude of other uses that will knock your socks off and leave you demanding more. The FDA will not allow people selling clay to advertise its true value as a healer until they have passed their expensive five-year studies for each health claim . . . such as it clears up acne, relieves arthritis, eliminates acid reflux, stops the itching and dries up poison ivy, oak and puts out the pain of shingles while reducing the healing time monumentally. Nor can you claim the power of clay in healing burns, stopping the pain of insect bites like brown recluse spiders, scorpions, wasps and even jelly fish stings. Powder clay in open wounds will stop the bleeding and keep infection out until medical help can arrive. And the list goes on and on and on for Living Clay in detoxing toxic elements.

But that aside, the stories of the wonderful benefits of Living Clay are rising to the surface and spreading around the globe at an amazing rate. Its time has come, and it will not be denied its glory. People who are clay believers will not be suppressed in their excitement of the wonders of what clay has done to restore them to good health without dangerous side effects. I call it PEOPLE POWER. The good will not be denied its moment. People are passionate when they share a new found source of something beneficial. It is People Power and you are It!

Animals have instinctually known the healing powers of living clay. The Macaws of South America eat poison berries followed with natural Bentonite clay from cliffs. Livestock will find a surface clay deposit and make a wallow out of it, rolling in it and eating the clay to return to and maintain health. They are not even concerned with the purity of the clay. They instinctually know the clay will handle anything not good for them. But then, animals clean themselves in ways humans do not. So, it is imperative that you use an all-natural unprocessed, untampered-with pure, clean clay from a reliable source.

Living Clays are ones that adsorb and absorb . . . and those come from the Smectite family of clays. The most popular and successful healing clays are known to be the green healing Calcium Bentonites/Montmorillonites. You will want a smooth, fine, non-gritty clay that dissolves easily and when hydrated takes on a texture of smooth thick sour cream or a rich thick pudding. When hydrated, hold the clay jar on the palm of one hand and tap the container slightly with the other hand. If you feel a vibrational energy you have a perfectly-hydrated clay.

You want the best, so why settle for less? According to several clay experts on clay who do not sell clay, Living Clay is the best all-around natural, pure clay on the market today. To use it is to love it. Go ahead and be amazed at the remarkable difference you will feel after just one facial, body wrap, clay bath or a week of taking it internally. And if you have a doubt, get the other clays and compare the difference. Experience is the best teacher. See for yourself. You too will become a TLC Clay believer and use your People Power Network to spread the good news about Living Clay. Now, go get clayed! Perry A. Smith

Healing with Mother Nature

The need to eliminate heavy metals and other toxic chemicals from the body is a life-long activity, thus it behooves us to find the most natural and effective way to do that.

The secret to safe and effective medicine (maintaining good health or returning to it) is caught up with the question of how to fix what ails us without suffering side effects from the medicines we use. What you are about to read is the anti-thesis of the called-out arrogance of the all-powerful officials at FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). In September of 2006 the Institute of Medicine (IOM) published a scathing report castigating the FDA leaving no doubt that the culture there is antagonistic toward safety concerns.

Five Element Healing . . . On one end of the medical spectrum we have a special form of human arrogance that thinks nothing of using poisons on men, women and children and on the other are humble substances so low to the ground they are the ground. Pure substances of wood and earth are the very first line of defense in our fight for health, detoxification and chelation. The most basic healing protocol that functions to detoxify and chelate the body of heavy metals consists of primary substances from the basic elements.

• Water Element: First there is pure water. The water element is more than an absolute necessity in medical treatment, it is life itself.

• Earth Element: From the earth comes calcium Bentonite clay which has a healing detoxifying power unequaled in the world of medicine.

• Wood Element: From wood we have activated charcoal, which is often made from burning the shells of coconuts.

• Metal Element: Magnesium is the most needed mineral as is selenium and zinc

There is no healing system more powerful than that which employs Nature’s primordial substances, materials so pure and close to nature that they yield benefits without the typical side effects of most medicines. This chapter is mostly about the healing and medicinal properties of calcium Bentonite clay which shares many similar characteristics as activated charcoal, which is more effective than clay is for acute poisoning and acute stomach or intestinal upset. Certainly both of these substances should be in every medicine cabinet.

The earth is our mother and has given us part of her in the form of natural medicines to fix what ails us.

Our exposure to general chemical toxins in the environment is only going to get worse, thus any reasonable and cost-effective method that reduces concentrations of toxic metals and other poisonous chemicals in the human body will find great use in the 21st century (the Age of Toxicity). Our world has never been as toxic as it is today, and it will be even more toxic next year and the year after that. No one can maintain a totally pure state, but we can approach medical treatments with an intelligence that will protect from most harm and disease.

In the 21st century the center of pharmacology needs to be shifted away from medicines that add to people's already heavy toxic burdens to medicines and protocols that reduce these burdens.

Inasmuch as mercury is omnipresent in the environment, as are a host of other chemicals like lead and halogenated hydrocarbons (halocarbons) from the plastic industry, it is virtually impossible for humans to avoid exposure to a growing list of chemicals that are mixing together in our bloodstreams and cells. Thus, there is a need for detoxification protocols that increase daily elimination for healthy people as well as chelation protocols for adults and children who have been devastated with mercury and other chemical poisoning.

The Detox experience can be made much easier, shorter and more effective.

An astonished gathering of the French Academy of Medicine watched as a pharmacist named Touery downed one grain of strychnine (10 times the lethal dose) without any noticeable ill effect! A few years earlier in 1813, another Frenchman swallowed a whole teaspoonful of arsenic trioxide, about 150 times the amount that would have killed most people. He also lived without ill effect. Why? Both of these men had mixed the poison with finely ground charcoal, which has a phenomenal ability to hold poisons from being absorbed by the body. The form of charcoal used in modern medical science is Activated Charcoal U.S.P., a pure naturally-produced, wood charcoal carbon that has no carcinogenic properties. Activated Charcoal is an odorless, tasteless powder. One teaspoonful has a surface area of more than 10,000 square feet. This unique feature allows it to adsorb large amounts of chemicals or poisons. The powder must be stored in a tightly-sealed container, as it readily adsorbs impurities from the atmosphere.

Activated charcoal has many uses and is one of the principle ways people filter poisons from the water they drink. It is extremely effective for acute poisoning but does not have the deeper more rounded healing properties of pure clay.

Calcium Bentonite Clay is effective for many ailments. It will remove from the body impurities, including bacteria, fungi, parasites, chemicals, toxins and even help resolve viral infections. It has been used extensively in the treatment of pain, open wounds, colitis, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, stomach ulcers, constipation and intestinal problems, acne, anemia, and a variety of other health issues. Just about everything unhealthy, everything impure, is irresistibly attracted to clay and becomes subject to immediate elimination
Dr. Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD

Some Ways to Use the Cleansing Clay Mask

Cleansing Clay Mask (hydrated clay) should be your best friend. The name hydrated doesn’t do justice to this creamy, smooth, healing potion of Mother Earth and water. It seems hard to imagine that something as simple as clay and water can take the sting out of insect bits, relieve itching skin immediately, heal wounds in half the time, relieve the pain of a burn and soothe the digestive track of a jalapeno, pizza, and spicy-food lover. It will tighten skin, pull out blackheads overnight, reduce inflammation of acne in a day’s time and de-worm you and your critters without you even being aware of it. In the latest book on Calcium Bentonite Clay called Living Clay: Nature’s Own Miracle Cure, you will learn over 101 applications for Living Clay . . . how to select the right clay and lighten your medicine cabinet of about 50 items -- prescription and other OTC items.

“Eat Clay?” I exclaimed the first time it was suggested to me. Now I wouldn’t go a day with out it. I put hydrated clay on my face, ankles, sore muscles, cuts, burns, achy joints and do a full body application once a month or more. A full body application and infrared sauna will pull a lifetime of gunk out of your body in 10-15 minutes.

I brush my teeth with it. Put a little toothpaste on your toothbrush, add some hydrated clay and you are cleansing your gums and polishing your teeth at the same time.

Achy feet will feel revived and alive after a light application of Essential Oil Blend, Soothe. Imagine that creamy clay is even creamier with added Jojoba oil, Tea Tree Oil and Peppermint oil. Toenail fungus will be adsorbed by clay, and the Soothe seems to speed the process with the extra benefits of Tea Tree Oil.

There is no need to go to a spa to get a luxurious facial. Just try a clay mask. You will marvel at how soft your skin feels and how much younger you look. With weekly applications those wrinkles and lines begin to vanish.

Clay baths will not only detoxify you but soothe sore muscles instantly. Got an itchy dog who scratches all the time? Save that clay bath water for your pets. Mix a little in their food and watch their coat shine. Here is what one loyal customer had to say when she shared TLC with her dogs:

"I give my small-size dog the liquid clay -- 8 parts water to 1 part clay. I have been giving him 1/2 tsp in his food. I put a little food in a bowl, add 1/2 tsp of liquid clay and 1/4 tsp of amino acids with a little warm water and mix to make gravy. He laps it up. I give him this twice a day. I also do this for my older dog. When I started giving it to the older dog, I noticed she became more energetic and happy. The vet also commented on her. He asked how old she is, and when I told him 9 years old, he was amazed. He said she acts like a puppy. I attribute it to the combination of the clay and amino acids.

However, for a while I was out of the amino acids and continued the clay. She continued to be friskier and her coat fuller and beautiful. She weighs 11 lbs, and I give her 1/2 tsp twice a day. Have a great clay day! That is our slogan now!"

Clay expert Jason Eaton says this about Living Clay: “An excellent natural desert Bentonite. This is a most excellent natural Bentonite to utilize both internally and externally. Ideal for wound problems, clay poultices, natural cosmetics, and general healing purposes. This raw clay is definitely an "Eytons' Earth certified" clay.” Perry A. Smith

Keeping Your Internal Systems Clean With Clay

Your spleen, your lymphatic system, your integumentary system: Even if you've never heard of them, you've got 'em and they're important. They're the hard working, quiet guys behind the scenes. Sure, you wouldn't survive very long without a heart or a brain, but a life without your integumentary system would be equally short and unpleasant as you will soon see.

Your integumentary system; it's all over you . . . it's your skin! Well, your skin and the other things that are attached to your skin: hair, nails, eyelashes, sweat glands, that sort of thing. Your skin is actually considered an organ in its own right. Not only that, it's the largest organ of the human body. The average human has about 6.2 pounds of skin. Stretched out there's about 2 1/2 yards of the stuff.

"Integumentary" comes out of a Latin word for "covering," and that's essentially what the integumentary system does. It covers your body to protect it from disease, dehydration, and the elements. For disease prevention, the skin forms a barrier against invaders, typically little microbes. And your skin doesn't just sit there, oh no. It's also proactive against those microbes, if it is clean and healthy. Your skin produces a peptide called hBD-2 that pokes holes in microbial cell walls. Dehydration is taken care of thanks to the fact that your skin is waterproof. Water doesn't get in, but more importantly, water doesn't get out either. The system also helps regulate body heat. When it's hot, you sweat and the evaporating sweat carries away heat from your body. When it's cold, you retain heat by constricting blood flow to the skin - to keep heat from leaking out so quickly. When you're cold, you also get goose bumps. In harrier creatures, this would help trap heat close to the body by making the hair stand up. In relatively hairless humans, it's usually a signal to crank up the thermostat.

Meet your Spleen: Make a loose fist with your left hand. Now put it midway up the left side of your abdomen. This is both the size and general location of your spleen, which acts as one of your body's primary blood filters. Here's how it works. Blood enters the spleen from an artery that branches right off the aorta (the artery that comes directly out of your heart). The spleen has all these various cavities designed to hold the blood -- the "red pulp" -- and the areas called "white pulp," which hold those important disease fighting elements like white blood cells.

While blood is sitting there in your spleen, it's checked over for microbial infections. If infections are found, they're ambushed, and the alarm goes out to the rest of the immune system to be on the lookout. In case you've ever wondered where old blood cells go to die, the spleen's the place. There, the hemoglobin (the stuff that carries the oxygen) is broken down into iron (which is recycled) and bilirubin, a pigment that's filtered out by the liver. The spleen also traps old platelets and white blood cells. It's a very busy place, as you can tell, with lots of comings and going.

The spleen is an important organ, but you can live without one. This is good news because the spleen is nicely situated to be poked by a broken rib, causing massive hemorrhaging (remember, it's filled with blood all the time). In a case like this, taking the spleen out is often safer than keeping it in. But don't think that a spleenless life is the same as a spleenful life. Uh-uh. People without spleens are susceptible to sepsis -- bacterial infections of the blood. So, be good to your spleen and keep your body detoxed so that it never feels overworked or under appreciated. Be good to your spleen and it will be good to you.

Your Lymphatic system. The aforementioned spleen is an integral part of the lymphatic system, which performs two very important functions. It keeps your blood from leaking out of your circulatory system, and it keeps your body from keeling over from infection. It's a funny name (from the Latin lympha, meaning "river water"), but don't laugh, it's better than being bloodless and infected.

So, how the heck does blood get out of your circulatory system? Good question. Aside from traumatic events like cuts, punctures and animal bites, blood naturally leaks out of your capillaries, those teensy blood vessels that allow your body's cells to exchange oxygen and nutrients with the bloodstream. Most of it goes right back into the bloodstream, but there's a small percentage of plasma and other material that doesn't make the return trip. It's not so much, but it can add up. If it's not drained, it can lead to edema (a swelling in places you don't want swollen), which leads to tissue damage, which leads to death, which leads to you missing every important appointment you have next week. This wayward plasma drains into an extensive network of lymphatic capillaries that drain into larger lymphatics and eventually all the collected lymph (as this blood plasma is now called) is delivered back into the bloodstream through a connection in your left and right subclavian veins, which are located below your neck on either side.

Unlike your blood which moves through your body thanks to pressure provided by your heart, the lymph is carried along by minute muscle contractions. If you're very still and think about it, maybe you can feel those little muscles contracting.

Remember the second lymphatic function -- disease defense! Here's how it works. Besides the aforementioned lymphatic passageways, you've got a few other lymphatic organs working overtime to help coordinate your body's blood-borne defenses (which you can think of as your own personal SWAT team). On your team you've got B and T cells, which are know as "lymphocytes," a kind of mamby-pamby name for a couple of tough guys who ferociously track down and kill any little organism in your body that is not actually part of you. The lymphocyte-developing organs include bone marrow (where B and T cells are created) and the thymus (where T cells mature). Your lymphatic system also features lymph nodes, which are bean-shaped glands strategically located along the system. These are the body's equivalent of a border checkpoint. Lymph moving along the system collects there and is checked for alien material. If any is found, it is "detained," at which point an alarm goes off and lymphocytes are released into your bloodstream to track down any additional offenders.

Your endocrine system. You have hormones. Just what are hormones anyway? Simply put, they are chemical messengers that are produced by your body to get other parts of the body to do things. The vast majority of these hormones are produced and secreted by glands associated with the endocrine system. Your endocrine gland works fairly simply. Say it's time your body needs something -- have a growth spurt, release an egg, or cause your body to run real fast because a large hairy man is chasing you with a chainsaw. To prime your body for such activities, the appropriate endocrine gland is activated. Your bloodstream dutifully carries the hormone along until it reaches a cell that "reads" the hormone's message. Before you know it, you've outgrown your pants, you're ovulating, or you're running as fast as your little feet with carry you.

Just about every system and cell in your body relies on hormones, their instructions, and the endocrine glands that produce them can be found everywhere from your groin to your brain. Some of the more famous glands are the pituitary (it's hormones regulated human growth), the pancreas (which produces insulin), the adrenal glands (which prime the body for action and produce adrenaline), and the testes and ovaries which both produce testosterone and estrogen (as well as other hormones) in varying amounts depending on your sex.

So, there you have it. All of these organs are hard at work, every minute - day and night. This very minute they are hard at work, keeping you warm, taking out the garbage, and protecting you from invasion. Calcium Bentonite Clay is your endocrine system's best ally. It takes a huge load off of the typical work day. It assists your entire system in detoxification. Your body can easily become overtaxed during its workday. Living Clay is the relief pitcher that comes in and cleans up when an overload occurs.

Use Calcium Bentonite Clay on a daily basis to keep your body clean, detoxed and operating at its peak. Cleanliness is next to healthiness and in turn, longevity.

Shift Your pH with Living Clay

Living Clay is obtained from the last remaining sub-surface mine in California (near Death Valley). It is a rare desert healing clay that has been protected from leaching by the climate. This clay deposit was sealed away and isolated from the natural elements by a cap of zeolite minerals for forty- three million years. Because its adsorptive properties have not been compromised by air or groundwater contaminants, this highly charged, 100% pure, 350 screen mesh Calcium Bentonite Clay has drawing power that is unsurpassed by any other known clay. Its extremely strong adsorptive and absorptive properties make it ideal for use in deep cleansing and clarifying of the skin, applications for skin conditions, rashes, burns, and other external injuries, as well as total body detoxification. You can't buy purer or more potent healing clay from any other source in the world.

The pH of Living Clay is 9.7, and thus it acts as an alkalizing agent in the body. The pH scale goes from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. Below 7 is acid, and above 7 is alkaline. The body's pH level plays a critical role in its ability to remain healthy and resist disease. Tissues in the body that are poorly oxygenated, or devoid of oxygen, are acidic and prone to disease. Cancerous tissues are acidic, whereas healthy tissues are alkaline. Blood, lymph, and cerebral spinal fluid in the human body are designed to be slightly alkaline at a pH of 7.4. At a pH level of 7.4, cancer cells become dormant, and at pH 8.5, cancer cells will die while healthy cells will live. Since most disease occurs when pH falls into the acid range, it is essential to alkalize the body to a pH of 7.4 or slightly above by every means available.

Calcium Bentonite's minute molecular particle size is related to the number of minerals comprising its molecule. The smaller the number of minerals in its molecule, the greater is the adsorptive power of the clay. Living Clay is pure Calcium Bentonite Clay and is comprised of only 17 minerals in its molecular structure. Other clays contain as many as 73. This gives it unparalleled adsorptive properties as compared to other Calcium Bentonite clays.

Adsorption and Absorption . . . The two words are similar but their differences are fundamental to understanding how clay minerals function and how clay works. Clays having the ability to absorb and adsorb are called Living or Active clays, because they are capable of changing and exchanging. Adsorption describes the process by which the charged particles of other substances combine with the charged particles on the outer surface of the clay molecule. First imagine the structure of the clay molecule to be similar to a stack of business cards with spaces in between the cards. The clay molecule has unsatisfied ionic bonds around its edges and naturally seeks to satisfy those bonds. For this to happen it must come into contact with a molecule of another substance with unsatisfied bonds that carry an opposite electrical (ionic) charge. When the two molecules meet, the ions held on the outer surface of the clay molecule are exchanged with the ions held on the outside surface of the molecule of the other substance.

Clay molecules carry a negative electrical charge while impurities carry a positive charge. With the clay the positively charged ions are attracted to the negatively charged surfaces of the clay molecule. An exchange reaction occurs in which the clay mineral ions are swapped for the ions of the positive charged substance. The clay molecule is now electrically satisfied and holds onto the positive ion until our bodies can eliminate both.

Absorption is a slower and more complex process. Acting like a sponge, the clay molecule draws other substances into its internal structure. Absorption can only occur when the foreign substance has undergone a chemical change and is then allowed to enter the clay's molecular inner structure. Once the foreign substance has undergone the chemical change, it enters into the spaces between the clay's inner structures. So the ions that were formerly only sticking to the surface of the clay's outer structure through ionic bonding, are now pulled inside the clay molecule. This is the primary reason why absorptive clays are labeled as mobile layered or expandable clays. The more the clay expands and its layers swell the more substances that are pulled into the clay's inner structure.

All absorbent clays have a charge on their inner layers. This means that charged ions sit between the layers of the clay molecule surrounded by water molecules. The clay expands as foreign substances are absorbed and fill the spaces between the clay molecule's stacked layers. Absorbent clay will absorb positively charged ions and impurities and ignore negatively charged nutrients.

On a molecular level, Robert T. Marin, a mineralogist at MIT, points to Bentonite's minute particle size that creates a large surface area in proportion to the volume used. "The greater the surface area, the greater its power to pick up positively charged particles of ions." Mr. Marin stated that one gram of this clay has a surface area of 800 square meters. That equates to about 8 football fields in size. Thus the greater the surface area the greater the power to pick up positive charged ions many times its own weight.

The pH of Living Clay is 9.7, and thus it acts as an alkalizing agent for the body. The pH scale goes from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. Below 7 is acid and above 7 is alkaline. Clay helps balance the body's pH level. Clay baths are increasing popular for detoxing, cleansing the skin and balancing the body's pH levels. To make a liquid ingestible drink . . . Mix one part Dry Powder Clay with 10 parts water. Use a juice or sports bottle. Shake for 3 - 5 minutes or until the Clay stays suspended in the water. Let stand for one hour and shake vigorously a second time. Shake again before each use.

An alternative is to stir, with a plastic or wooden spoon, 1 Tbsp. Dry Powder Clay into 8 oz of water and drink. To sum it all up, Therapeutic Living Clay supplies the best, all-natural, most effective clay available today. We are very pleased to be able to offer it to you.

Living Clay and Sun-Radiated Skin

Weather is something with which we all have to deal in one way or another. Here in the Phoenix area of Arizona, we're entering that time of year where the heat index produces the other half of the extreme temperature matrix, counterpart to the wind-chill index with which I grew up in Chicago and the Midwest. Peaking in the area of 115 degrees (and sometimes higher) for days on end, we get a good idea of what it might be like to live in an oven. In fact, it's not unusual to feel the lingering warmth, if not pain, of radiant energy on your skin, long after the sun has set. This turns out to be another perfect situation for Living Clay.

Recently I had the good fortune of meeting and speaking with Perry A~, author of Living Clay: Nature's Own Miracle Cure, one of several informative books available that reveal the remarkable therapeutic properties of clay. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Perry talked about how effective good Calcium Bentonite Clay is on all types of burns. In fact, she went so far as to suggest that treatment protocols should be developed in hospital burn units based on this vitalizing reconnective agent of Mother Earth.

Whether it is from a cut or wound, insect or animal bite, rash, sunburn or severe burn, Living Clay brings immediate comfort naturally, with no adverse effects, just like a mother would. It stimulates a natural healing response in the body, which in fact, is a normalizing response. In other words, Living Clay facilitates the return to a normal state for the damaged or compromised body part. With that in mind, I figured it would be the perfect thing to apply on my left forearm, which gets an intensified dose of sunlight while I'm driving in 115-degree weather. So that's what I did. We bought a 50-lb. container of Detox Clay Powder and use it in a variety of ways, orally and topically. For my forearm I needed the creamy blend, which "D" makes, using a 3:1 ratio of energized distilled water to Calcium Bentonite Clay. Prior to mixing with the clay, she first pours the water into a pitcher that holds Cosmic Energy Stones and Prill beads. Then she places the Clay in a glass bowl, and adds the water.

Using a plastic or wooden spoon, she simply mixes the clay and water together, "declumping" as she goes, allowing the Clay to gradually expand. After mixing, she then sets aside for one hour. It is ready to use when the texture is smooth and has a gelled thickness.

18 oz of water and 6 oz of Clay produces a creamy, soothing, and healing compote that fits perfectly into a 24-oz. Gladware (or similar plastic container) and will remain hydrated indefinitely. To apply to sun-radiated skin, simply take a few fingers full of your Hydrated Clay mix, and rub onto the affected area.

Remarkable, amazing, wonderful are the words that come to mind time and time again when we learn more about such products as Magnesium Oil and Living Clay. The effects are remarkable, because they expose the very low expectations to which we've become accustomed. They're amazing because they are so simple, given the complex matrix of consequences and tradeoffs that traditional medications demand. It's wonderful to realize that, when we see the scientific principals that these elements have always operated under, we understand that it was okay to trust Mother Nature all along. -Adam

Address Autism with Bentonite Clay

Many autism treatment centers, including a clinic based in Austin, TX treating autistic patients worldwide, are incorporating the use of Bentonite clay in their successful treatment regimens. Detoxing and chelating with calcium Bentonite clay baths is proving to be a key factor in their success. Studies are showing the clay's unique ability to safely remove metals and environmental toxins from the body clears the way for greater results with behavioral and integrative therapies.

The number of children diagnosed annually with autism is escalating at a truly frightening rate. In the 1980s, a study showed that 4 in every 10,000 children showed signs of autism. A recent study by Cambridge University's Autism Research Center showed that approximately 1 in 60 children have some form of the condition. The controversy over what causes autism spectrum disorder has grown almost as rapidly as the number of cases, with most researchers searching frantically for a genetic culprit, while others point to environmental factors.

Current research has shown that while there does appear to be a genetic factor in many autism cases, environmental factors may be the trigger that actually sets off the disorder.  "There's really the role for something in the environment that could be triggering someone who is genetically susceptible," says Dr. Gary Goldstein, a child neurologist who directs the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Maryland. "I think there's a real concern that there's been a change in our environment," said Dr. Carol Berkowitz, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics. "An exposure to some toxins, chemicals, environmental factors - either when a mother is pregnant or after the delivery of the child - that has led to autism."

Many have pointed to childhood vaccinations as the cause of autism, and the debate continues on that point. Some researchers dismiss the correlation while others refer to data showing that unvaccinated children show a significantly lower rate of autism than children who have been vaccinated.  Specifically, some researchers blame mercury, which is still present in the flu vaccines given to children as part of the vaccination regime. Others point to the dramatic increase in the number of vaccinations given in accordance with the CDC Mandatory Vaccination Schedule. In 1983, the total number of vaccines given to children from birth through 6 years of age was 10.  In 2007, that number had grown to 36.

The range of environmental toxins that could be triggering autism envelopes everything from the previously mentioned mercury to lead and other toxic metals, pesticides, food additives, flame retardants, phthalates (found in cosmetics and vinyl, including vinyl flooring), antibacterial soaps, pet flea shampoos, and even fluoride.

Chelation, Internal Cleansing and Detoxification

With environmental toxins playing such a significant factor in the onset of autism, it becomes imperative to protect ourselves from them, and to remove them from our systems as rapidly as possible. Unfortunately, it's impossible to completely avoid these toxins; they are in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat. Internal cleansing and detoxification are needed to remove these substances from our bodies. Many naturopaths and holistic doctors are recommending chelation and detoxification programs in addition to behavioral therapy for their autistic patients.  Experts agree that when you remove these toxins, all other behavioral and integrative therapies such as music therapy and applied behavioral analysis, work much more easily and effectively.

Chelators are substances that bind to heavy metals. The two most common chelators used by medical professionals are transdermal DMPS and oral DMSA. These chelation therapies generally work well, but they are quite expensive and there is a greater risk of side effects (headache, diarrhea, fatigue, fever, cramps), especially for children. There is a better, more natural way to detoxify the body that has less risk of reactions, and works just as well, if not better - calcium Bentonite clay.

What is Calcium Bentonite Clay, and How Does it Work?

Calcium Bentonite clay is a member of the Montmorillonite / Smectite family of clays. Also called Living Clay, it is one of the most sought after of the healing clays.  It carries a uniquely strong negative ionic charge which causes it to 'magnetically' attract any substance with a positive ionic charge (i.e., bacteria, toxins, metals, etc.). These substances are both adsorbed (sticking to the outside like Velcro) and absorbed (drawn inside) by the clay molecules.  The toxins are then eliminated from the body as the clay is eliminated or removed.

Calcium Bentonite clay is used both internally and externally to detoxify the body. Clay cannot be digested, so when taken internally in liquefied form, the clay passes through your system collecting the toxins, and removing them as the clay is eliminated. If drinking the liquefied clay is not palatable to you, it can be added to food, juices, or smoothies. Used externally, clay baths have proven to be highly effective at removing toxins. Discussing clay baths in his book
The Clay Cure, Ran Knishinsky states, "It is a fairly simple procedure, and it can do a lot of good in a relatively short time.  Because of clay's excellent drawing effect, the clay has the power to literally pull toxicities through the pores of the skin in the bath."  And Wendell Hoffman, author of Using Energy to Heal, found that Bentonite clay, when used in a bath, can and does draw out toxic chemicals through the pores of the skin.

Dr. Miriam Jang, M.D., author of
Breakthroughs in Autism stated:

"I have put a huge number of patients on these clay baths and the levels of heavy metals - mercury, lead, arsenic, aluminum, and cadmium - have come down dramatically. I have been monitoring the levels of metals using all three methods (TD DMPS, oral DMSA and clay baths) and the clay baths are way faster in the removal of metals. One particular patient had very high levels of mercury and levels of lead that were off the charts. In 3 months of twice weekly clay baths, the lead came down dramatically and the mercury disappeared. The muscle weakness associated with high lead levels improved dramatically."

Choosing the Right Clay

When selecting a clay for healing and detoxing purposes, it's important to remember that not all clays are created equal.  Some clays should never be used externally, let alone internally. You must do your due diligence and make certain that you are using a high quality, safe, healing clay. According to an article written by Perry A~, author of
Living Clay, Nature's Own Miracle Cure, and published in Natural News (http://www.naturalnews.com/025053.html), certain standards should be followed when choosing a good quality detoxing clay. The clay should be a natural, contaminant free calcium Bentonite Clay with a pH of 8.7 or higher.  Processed clays have a reduced efficacy, so it's best to use a natural, unprocessed clay. And choose the clay company carefully as well. You should look for a company that provides a mineral analysis sheet, a certified laboratory microbial test, and direct contact information including a phone number and physical address. There are too many 'fly-by-night' companies out there, so make sure you're dealing with a reputable seller.

Most of the current autism research funding is being spent on finding a genetic factor that causes the disorder.  This is vital research that should continue.  But more funding must be used to study the environmental factors as well, and clay therapy in particular.  Several holistic autism clinics are achieving great success with clay therapy.  Unfortunately, since clay cannot be patented by the pharmaceutical companies, they are not willing to promote its use, and therefore the medical society is largely unaware of the benefits of calcium Bentonite clay.

Introduction in Newsletter

• Since I first met Mark Sircus, he has raved about the benefits of Bentonite clay and encouraged me to add it to our product line. This morning I reached agreement with Perry Smith from The Living Clay Company, and we are adding her Bentonite clay products to our website. Today, we added a four ounce jar of hydrated clay, a 1 pound jar of dry powder clay and a 4 pound jar of dry powdered clay. As time permits, we will add several more of her products and will start publishing information about the many ways to use the clay. This is one of the very few clays that is suitable for both ingesting and for soaking in a bath. To learn a great deal more about the uses of clay, you might want to check out the website www.AboutClay.com.

• Now, drum roll please, we are announcing the availability of the full line of Living Clay from Perry Smith. These products are made from the most pristine calcium Bentonite clay available on this earth. Taking a line from Perry, she says “Living Clay is a very rare California desert clay that has been protected from contaminants and leaching by the climate. This clay deposit was sealed away and isolated from the natural elements by a cap of zeolite minerals for forty-three million years. Because its adsorptive properties have not been compromised by air or ground water contaminants, this highly charged Calcium Bentonite Clay has tremendous drawing power.”

I first learned about Perry’s calcium Bentonite clay over a year ago from Dr. Mark Sircus. He just raved and raved about this wonderful clay, but I never got around to checking into it. Well, lo and behold, Perry’s company is just down the road from us and, as a bonus, she is a delight to know. We share almost identical views about business ethics and an intense commitment to our members and customers. Her integrity and commitment to service is a delight and a role model for us. We first picked up just a few of the Living Clay products, but when Dr. Bill Deagle of Nutrimedical.com fame called and asked me to carry the full line so that he could refer customers to us, we took the plunge and now carry the full product line. Well almost full line . . . we don’t yet carry the 500 pound container. But if you want it, we can get it for you quickly.

Newsletter Notes

• There is SO much to learn about Calcium Bentonite Clay and, as of this very evening, Perry has made that a lot easier. About an hour ago I took delivery of my first stock of her new book Living Clay – How to Cure 101 Ailments with Calcium Bentonite Clay. That title is not an idle claim . . . I saw at least that many as I thumbed through the book just now. Some of them are quite amazing . . . like tattoo removal, nuclear radiation detoxification, varicose veins, diverticulosis, age spots, Rosacea and IBS to name just a few out of 101. When you learn more about the clay, you are going to be sorry if you missed this opportunity.

• Last night, at 1:00 AM, I started reading Perry Smith’s new book, Living Clay, and I could hardly put it down. Perry has a real down-to-earth writing style that I can relate to. I only got 20 pages into the book, and I know that I must finish it. I decided to carry the clay based on the strong recommendations of Dr. William Deagle, MD, and Dr. Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD, but now that I am learning much more about the clay, this very special kind of clay, I feel so fortunate to have made the connection with Perry Smith and her Living Clay. This line of products will be a permanent part of the our catalog for the long haul. I want to sincerely recommend that you at least get a copy of her book, Living Clay, and then you are going to want to make clay a major part of your health regimen. I just can’t stop saying and thinking WOW! How could I have missed learning about clay until now?

• Last weekend, I had my first experience with the clay. Into the Jacuzzi, I put one pound of clay, a bunch of Magnesium Oil, a bunch of Magnesium Bath Flakes, a Calming Stirwand and an ounce of Miracle II soap. I meant to also add the Ocean Frost and the Mountain Crystals but forgot to bring some from the warehouse. WOW! What an experience . . . afterwards I melted into bed and slept through to noon the next day.

• I took the opportunity to pore through the Living Clay book and really understand the different ways that the Calcium Bentonite Clay is used. As I read through the book on the long flight to Australia, there were frequent references to using the dry powder Clay, a poultice of Clay, Hydrated Clay or Liquid Clay. I knew that Perry sells the Clay in each of these forms, but I could not get it clear in my mind whether or not we could make up our own formulations from the raw dry powder product that comes in the 50-pound bucket or one of the smaller sizes. So, I have sorted through all of that for you, and below is my summary of the different forms of the Clay, how to mix them and an example of how they might be used.

The dry powdered Clay can, of course, be used in a bath. Put 1 to 2 cups of dry powdered Clay into a small amount of the hottest-possible bath water and stir it vigorously until it is completely dissolved. Then fill the tub with water that is as hot as is comfortable for you. You could also put the dry powdered Clay onto an open bleeding wound to stop the bleeding, accelerate the healing and minimize the risk of infection.

For a poultice (Clay Pack), mix 1 part Clay with 1 to 11/2 part water. Stir well with a wooden or plastic spoon and let sit for several hours until the water is completely assimilated with the Clay. This might be used to pack over a spider bite. There are lots more ideas in the book.

For hydrated Clay, mix 1 part Clay with 3 parts water and let it sit for 12 hours. Then mix thoroughly to a creamy consistency. This formulation could be used for a facial pack, or maybe on varicose veins or tattoos and for a full body pack with the help of a friend . . . a very good friend. (Grins)
For liquid Clay, mix 1 part clay with 10 parts water and put into a juice bottle or sports bottle, e.g., and shake it like crazy for 3 to 5 minutes. After 1 hour shake again like crazy until the clay remains suspended in the water. This is the mix that you would use for all of the different suggestions for “eating” or drinking the Clay. The benefits are completely awesome . . . get the book and check out how you can REALLY get your pH way up.

Now we are all enlightened. Perry simply prepares these various mixes at a substantially higher-per-ounce cost as a convenience. You can buy a 50-pound bucket of Clay, get a FREE copy of the book, and save megabucks when you make up your own mixes. Just as a teaser, I want to mention that the last chapter in the book is titled Living Clay and Ageless Beauty –- How to look and feel 29 for 100+ years. I will give you a little hint . . . it involves drinking a little liquid Clay every day and taking a Clay bath a few times a week. Not a bad price for the Fountain of Youth? One other teaser for some of you interested in Monatomics and all that involves . . . one of the later chapters discusses monatomics, zeolites and ORMOS contained in Therapeutic Living Clay. For many of you, that will have no meaning, but for others, it will be a huge sign flashing PAY ATTENTION –- this is an extraordinary product, worthy of your serious attention. Opportunity is knocking, and the price is right. Hear ye, hear ye!

• I just remembered that Dr. Deagle also emphasized the importance of the Living Clay today. He points out that when we are exposed to radiation, either due to an accident or due to higher and higher accumulations around the world as a consequence of depleted uranium munitions being used in our military invasions, calcium bentonite clay is one of the best ways to pull the radiation from our bodies. A word to the wise should be sufficient . . .

• For the last couple of weeks, I have been testing and working with the Therapeutic Living Clay to expand my knowledge of it and how to best use it. As I reported last week, I have been applying the Hydrated Clay to two spots on my face to see how they respond. One was a brown spot about 3/8 inch in diameter that looked very suspicious to me . . . maybe a melanoma. I am now almost certain that is what it was. As I have applied the Hydrated Clay to that area over the last 10 days, the brown spot has disappeared and a sort of focal point has become apparent. It seems as though that small area is where the cancer might have been centered. The area has gone through several phases and continues to do so. I feel very strongly that the situation is being resolved, but I have a bit more work to do.

I felt like the other area, next to my lips, was a small cyst. That has steadily shrunk, and just this evening a little bit of pressure on that area released a discharge and no hardness remains. I will continue to use the clay for a while longer, but I feel certain that this situation is now resolved. This clay is really quite amazing. After these two areas are taken care of, I will move on to other blemishes to see how they respond. Testing, testing, testing and reporting to the Membership . . . that is part of my job.

I started doing my testing with Hydrated Clay that was already prepared for me in a little 4-oz. jar that sells. It began to dawn on me that I should be able to make my own hydrated clay from my 50-pound bucket of Clay. So I followed Perry’s instructions and put one part Clay with three parts water and mixed it up. At first it lumps up and is sort of messy. But as you let it sit, the water begins to soak into the Clay, and a rich poultice begins to form. Over the next couple of days, anytime I thought about it, I would stir and blend the mixture a bit. After two days, I had a generous, rich, smooth putty that was every bit as nice as you get for $17.77, and it just cost pennies. If I can do it, you can too. If you don’t get a 50-pound bucket of the Clay, at least get a small container and make and use some of this mud pack. What an incredible, cleansing feeling. Try it! You will like it!

While I am on the subject of the Clay, Perry A. Smith, from Therapeutic Living Clay, has provided us with a 32-page booklet written by her partner, David Smith. The book is titled How to Survive a Dirty Bomb and is in .pdf format that most Members will be able to read. Here is the link to the book:
http://www.globallight.net/pdf/Surviving-A.

Perry is giving the book to the Global Light Network membership for FREE. The price is right . . . please take the time to read it!

I know that it is not pleasant to think about the possibility of radiation exposure from a bomb in your area, or a nuclear power plant accident or even a gradual rise in radiation levels as the indirect result of depleted uranium munitions being used by our Armed Forces in Iraq and everywhere else that we are waging war on other countries. This little booklet is a MUST read, because it tells how very simple protocols with the Calcium Bentonite Clay can provide nearly 100% protection from the devastating results of radiation exposure and virtually guarantee your survival and the survival of your family. There is NO other strategy that offers survival and, in the big scheme, the cost is almost trivial. I am sure that you have guessed that Therapeutic Living Clay is THE answer and that I am going to make you an offer that you cannot refuse . . . I hope.

• A couple of weeks ago, Perry Smith, from Therapeutic Living Clay, visited us at GLN. While she was here, she told us how she had used the Hydrated Clay to remove some mole-type growths around her neck. She said that once or twice per day she would put the Hydrated Clay on those spots, let it dry and then leave it on through the day or through the night. I wondered how it would stay on under your clothes or under your sheets. So . . . I have two spots on my face that I have decided to work on. At night, before going to bed, I apply a little of the Hydrated Clay on the spots of concern. Well, much to my surprise, once the clay dries, it is pretty much there to stay unless you choose to flake it off or wash it off. One spot I have been working on felt like a cyst and probably was 1/8 inch in diameter under the skin. After only four days, that cyst, or whatever it is, has reduced to about 1/4 of its original size . . . amazing! I don’t see anything coming out, but nevertheless, it is shrinking in size . . . wonder where it goes? The other spot seemed like a little melanoma on my cheek just under my left eye. That spot is fading and seems to be flaking off. I have lots of other spots that I want to work on now. That Clay is amazing stuff. You just have to try it to convince yourself. I had only been using the Clay to soak in a bath, but now I am spreading my wings to try other uses. I suppose, drinking the Clay must come next.

• Adam Abraham is the publisher of the powerful and informative book, Transdermal Magnesium Therapy and is a very special friend of Global Light Network. He and his partner, Della Hale, are creating a video documentary about the TLC clay, and will make it available to our Members very soon. They are documenting in a video format many of the ways that the clay can be used, including some really innovative ideas of how we can eat (drink) the clay.

• Perry A~ from Therapeutic Living Clay came down from Austin and spent an afternoon with us. That was at least four hours of eye-opening and jaw-dropping information. As we scramble to find suitable alternatives to the probiotic we carried, Perry made us realize that many of the benefits we derived from the probiotic are also available through the many uses of the calcium Bentonite clay. I was up to my ears with a hundred priorities and missed much of the session with Perry, but Libby, Adam, Della and David Fitts raved all evening about the Clay and all of the uses and benefits of which we were completely unaware.

Thus, we devised a way to share as much of this information as possible with the Members. You guessed it . . . another FREE CD. • You may remember that a huge benefit of the probiotic for me was to control stomach burn after decades of chewing tubs . . . truckloads of them. Well, guess what? Drinking the clay works much better and even faster. It is as simple as mixing one part clay with 10 parts water and mixing, shaking it well. One ounce of that mixture is all that I need to calm a raging fire in my stomach. Perry recommends that we take two or three ounces of the clay mix per day for a while, and then we can back off to one ounce per day . . . and that is a very beneficial long-term program that packs tons of benefits for us. Now, I must confess, it took me a while . . . months . . . to try drinking the clay. I just could not get my head around the concept of drinking dirt. Well, I can now attest that it is not a big deal or an unpleasant experience. It leaves a little bit of an after taste, so I just chase it with a tiny bit of grape juice. In fact, since I use grape juice to mix with the Karma Cleanse and Detoxified Iodine. I just chug down the Clay and then take the grape juice concoction as a chaser . . . yummy good and healthy.

• The big excitement this week, for me, was getting stung six to eight times by a scorpion . . . ouch! On Monday, somehow, a scorpion crawled up my pants leg and starting stinging me from my ankle to my knee. At first, I thought it was fire ants but quickly realized it was something far more serious. In a flash, I had my trousers down and discovered a really big and bad scorpion working on me, and I swatted him across the room so that Libby could bless him and send him to scorpion heaven.

Fortunately, I had recently talked to Perry A~ about using the Living Clay for insect bites and stings . . . and scorpions in particular. I rushed to the bedroom and found a large container of Hydrated Clay and started rubbing it on all of the stings that I could find. Within minutes the pain was significantly reduced, except for one major sting that I missed on my shin. It was probably half an hour before I got Clay on that one, and, thus, that was the one sting that hurt during the day and early evening.

To me, the amazing thing is that there was NO SWELLING, and by early evening there was barely any pain. However, I still think that quite a bit of venom got into my system, and it was pretty scary when my lips started getting numb during the afternoon. Drinking three ounces of the Clay mix (10 to 1) probably helped with that response. After the crisis passed, several people told me that six to eight scorpion stings could have been life threatening . . . thank you Perry A~, and thank you, Living Clay, for minimizing the danger for me. I am blessed.

I am so impressed with these products, all over again, that we have devoted a lot of this issue to coverage of the Therapeutic Living Clay. If you have not already ordered the FREE CD on Living Clay, you really should. You will be amazed at the huge range of uses and benefits of the Clay. This may be ONE of the most powerful and versatile products that we have available and, to me, it was really a sleeper. Truthfully, I added the Clay to our line based on the really strong recommendation of Dr. Mark Sircus and a few others in whom I have a lot of faith. I am now doing all of the personal experimenting that I would normally do upfront. The more research I do, the more impressed I am . . . you will be too! This is the perfect month to try the Clay products, because we are offering a 20% discount on everything.

• Regarding Therapeutic Living Clay, there has been a bit of confusion that I would like to clarify. Lately, we have often mentioned drinking the Living Clay, but there is not a product from Perry A~ that specifically suggests that it is for drinking. That is probably because Perry is not allowed by "You Know Who" to suggest that the clay can be ingested. So I am going to let you in on a little secret. The Clay Bath just happens to be prepared in the proportion that is recommended for drinking . . . that would be a proportion of about 1 part clay to 10 parts water. The next hot tip is that it is incredibly simple to make your own clay drink. I prefer mine a little thicker, so in a one-quart container that can be well sealed, put in 4 ounces, by volume, of clay and fill the container with water. Then shake it well periodically. Then each time you want to pour some to drink, it's ready. It is so easy, and even a one-pound container of clay will go quite a ways.

• With all of the telephone troubles this afternoon, it was a pretty hectic day today. About 4:00 PM, I went into the house for a very late lunch, or maybe it was a very early dinner. I had an Italian dish that was quite spicy and ate it way too fast so I could get back to the problems. Very predictably, within an hour, I had major stomach burn going on. Living Clay to the rescue! I went into the house and poured one ounce of clay from a quart I had already prepared at a ratio of 1 part clay to 8 parts water. Within 15 minutes, all of the pain was gone. This is a miracle in my life to have something so simple that will put out the fire so quickly. Thank you, Perry for continuing to encourage me to try drinking the clay . . . it is a major answer for me. I don't even worry about a chaser anymore; I just chug it down and go on back to work or to bed if it is in the middle of the night

Testimonials

Gulf War Illness . . . I am a Gulf War veteran. I was activated January 1991 and had to leave three small children. Although I was not deployed to the war zone, I was inoculated with an array of vaccines along with everyone else. Toward the end of my mobilization, I came down with a serious kidney infection, and when I was demobilized, I continued to feel sickly. I was chronically tired but could never get a restful night's sleep. I had a dull headache all the time, my gums were sore and bleeding, and my joints ached. After my demobilization, I felt as if I had aged fifty years!

I began to pay close attention to my diet, eating as many fresh vegetables and fruits . . . getting organic as much as possible. I began supplementing my diet with CoQ10, alpha lipoic acid, milk thistle extract, vitamin C, a good probiotic and just as much good stuff as I could get into my body. These seemed to help somewhat, but I just couldn't seem to get total and consistent relief from the symptoms I was experiencing.

About two years ago, I accidentally came across the WARL radio station in Providence, which was airing The Power Hour. Working as a structural inspector on a jobsite, I had gotten into my company vehicle inspector on a jobsite, I had gotten into my company vehicle to warm up, since it was well below zero outside. I was tired of mainstream propaganda on the radio and started scanning the radio waves, and there was Joyce talking about real health. After that day, I didn't want to miss one edition of the Power Hour.

When I learned what Joyce and Dave have been doing for vets for so long, it practically brought tears to my eyes. I was so grateful to them!

Anyway I began using oregano products, coconut oil, essential oils, flax lignan an some other items which again improved my condition. Then one day Joyce had a guest on who was talking about eating dirt every day! I thought What?" As I listened to this man describe the many curing abilities of this miraculous "dirt," I made a decision that I was going to get some, as I still was battling bleeding gums, canker sores and pains in the back of my neck and knee joints.

I started taking one teaspoon of clay with purified water first think in the morning and before bed. I continued this regimen for about the next nine months, until one day this summer, I went to the beach with my husband and several of our friends for a diving adventure. After diving, we girls went into the ladies room to change and wash the salt and sand off. As we were washing and chatting in front of the mirrors, one of the ladies looked at me, her eyes with the look of amazement, and she said to me "you have the best skin I've ever seen!". I didn't know what to say except "Thanks, what a kind thing to say." Then I looked in the mirror and noticed that a liver spot I had on my left cheek since my last pregnancy, which was 1989, about the size of a quarter and had started to rise, was completely gone? My complexion really was even-toned and radiant. I hadn't even noticed until that lovely comment was made.

What I really noticed, however, since eating clay every day and using only clay and sea salt as a dentifrice, is a complete clearing of my gum problems, the lack of joint and neck pain, and no headaches . . . I sleep like a baby. The chronic fatigue I'd lived with for so long had disappeared completely!

Thank you for providing and researching this God- sent substance for those of us who can now use this to heal ourselves and to purify ourselves of the many toxins we ingest knowingly and unknowingly. We do believe this "miracle dirt" could be the key to curing Gulf War Illness and to restoring our many sick veterans (about 260,000) back to health. God bless you all. Donna D., USAF Ret.

Cataracts . . . I was suffering from cataracts and eventual loss of sight and was advised to use water filtered through Calcium Bentonite Clay as eye drops, combining this treatment with Calcium Bentonite Clay paste to the eyelids. The treatment was effective, and the cataracts completely dissolved. K.S., US

Pyorrhea . . . My pyorrhea finally got so bad my dentist told me all my teeth would need to be extracted. It seemed my teeth were fine, but my gums would have to go. I began brushing my teeth and gums with Hydrated Calcium Bentonite Clay and packing my gums in the evening at bed time with dry powder. Today, one year later, my teeth are pearly white, and my gums are a healthy pink and disease free. All thanks to Calcium Bentonite Clay. J.B., US

Cuts, Spider Bites, Rashes . . . Externally, every condition I have applied Calcium Bentonite Clay to has improved dramatically or been cured. Lacerations, bedsores, spider bites, poison ivy and mysterious rashes seem to vanish. In fact, I "discovered" clay when I sliced my fingers open with a razor knife while cutting sheetrock. I sprinkled dry clay onto the cuts, and they stopped bleeding within a minute. Then I bandaged them up and went back to work. To my great astonishment, within 15 minutes the pain was gone, and the cuts completely healed within three days. I also used it on a cat bite that wasn't healing (very dangerous), and it cleared up overnight. J.C., US

Weight Loss . . . I am doing a Clay facial once in a while, and once in a while I do a Clay bath soak. I am very loyal about drinking it twice a day and taking plenty of water as my only beverage other than Darjeeling and various green teas. When I began drinking a pure, natural Calcium Bentonite Clay at the end of January 2005, I drank plenty of water along with the lay. I didn't sleep all night, so I had a carafe of water handy and each and every time I awoke I drank water. I am not that loyal to doing it lately since I sleep more soundly and awaken fewer times. Consequently, I have not been dropping as fast the additional weight. So there is a clue here . . . drink plenty of water.

By Easter at the end of March I realized I was not eating the foil-covered eggs I had purchased for my husband. The Clay had just honed down my binges and moderated my desire to eat and over eat. I am satisfied with better food and much smaller portions. The candy and bakery sections hold NO temptation for me now. I don't feel like I have to be putting food or drink into my system all the time as I did before drinking the clay. Water is the only exception. I always have a bottle of water ready. My shape change came about without effort. I did not exercise; I do feel now like I could.

I have fibromyalgia and related-health problems, so exercising was not for me. At first my shape change was subtle. I noticed my clothes getting comfortable . . . that was a surprise since my washer and dryer have always shrunk my clothes. Then they just didn't stay on my hips. My arms and shoulders no longer fit my shirts and blouses, and the shoulder pads I once tossed out would be needed to continue to wear them. My guess is that I am not being controlled by the parasites who had been supported by the chemicals and other trash in what I had been consuming. The Clay did its job and cleaned them out.

The only other changes I made were getting a mercury filling taken out and dropping all medications. Both had long been on my mind to do, and Clay had just given me the vehicle to carry away the residue/toxins that my habits or poor judgment had left behind. The truth at last . . . a pure, natural Calcium Bentonite Clay is effective and harmless at the same time. Will I ever stop drinking clay twice a day? After going from size 3X to size 14 (for now) I will always drink clay. L.R., US

TLC Dry Clay Powder, Teeth and Skin. . . I am loving the Clay Powder. I've just started brushing my teeth at night (using my regular natural toothpaste in the am), and I'm surprised at the whiteness of my teeth after two days. At night I don't rinse the Clay completely out of my mouth, allowing it to do its magic throughout the night. I did try brushing with it this morning, but I found it's a bit difficult to rinse out.

I had followed your directions for making the Clay Powder into Hydrated Clay. It was very simple. I applied a bit to my face and neck and allowed to dry. My skin is so soft and smooth. I'm not sure, but I think I detect a slight increase in firmness along my jawline. I'll be using this twice a week and am anxious to see the accumulative results. The next step is to start ingesting the Clay for detoxification and weight loss. I'm very excited about this product. VA, CO

Skin Tightening Effects . . . Last week I reported that my jawline seemed slightly tighter after using my hydrated (home-made) clay as a facial mask. I have done two more masks since then, and I can see a definite improvement in my jawline. I am also noticing a higher upper eyelid by carefully applying the clay to my upper lid as a mask. Another awesome product! V.A., CO

Tasty Clay . . .I just wanted to tell you THANK YOU for the wonderful clay! It is by far the tastiest clay I've ever had! I will be ordering more in the future :) Tsetsi, US

TLC Clay Facial . . .I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the clay. Just as my friend had told me, the Clay is absolutely amazing. I used it for a facial and my skin texture improved visibly almost immediately. A.G., US

Fast-Growing Lesion . . . It was an unbelievable experience. Most thought I would be hospitalized when I shared it. I was very frightened at what had happened to my body. Early in the morning I noticed a small hot spot, maybe the size of a dime. It was red and enflamed. By mid afternoon, it had enlarged and continued to grow. I placed ointments on it, but the inflamed area continued to expand until it reached an area of about 4"X6" when I began to apply the Bentonite clay. The growth slowed almost immediately, and within a couple of days the redness and swelling began to diminish. I applied the Clay a couple of times a day for the next couple of weeks. Miraculously the area totally healed -- the swelling went down, and the redness left. Today, all I have is a tiny black dot where apparently the stinger or whatever permeated my skin still remains. I would never have believed that clay could do such an incredible healing from an apparent spider bite. J.B., US

Acid Reflux . . . I was introduced to Calcium Bentonite Clay by my brother. I was suffering from Acid Reflux disease so bad that it caused me to have an automobile accident. My chest hurt so much that I and the EMT's thought I was having a heart attack. I was taken to the VA Hospital and hospitalized for 3 days. It took me a month to recover from two broken ribs and muscle damage in my back. My primary care physician at the VA Hospital put me on Ranitidene. It didn't work, so he doubled the dosage. This still didn't work. I asked my doctor about taking the clay because I had thrown up at least once a day for five of the last seven days. The day before I started taking the clay I had thrown up four times. I asked him about the clay, he said he could not recommend it. I even gave him some literature to read, and that it was FDA approved. He said he would read the literature when he had time. I started using the clay anyway, and I have not had any symptoms of the acid reflux disease for two months. S.M., AZ

Kitty's Cyst . . . I have an elderly cat, Big Guy, who has been my companion for over twelve years...I rescued him as a tiny kitten...He's in good health, except for a large cyst on top of his head, near his ear. The vet won't remove it, as he doesn't want to do surgery on a cat his age if not absolutely necessary. Occasionally, I notice that BG has been scratching the cyst, and it has bled a bit...This really worried me, so I started putting a dab of the rehydrated clay on it when he was quiet or asleep and didn't realize what I was doing! If he knew, he would promptly lick his paw and remove the stuff . . .but I figured that it wouldn't hurt his insides, either! I notice that when I use this clay on the cyst, it gets smaller, the sore places dry up , and he doesn't seem to be bothered by it...So I'm going to keep using it on him as long as the cyst is there...We'll see if it disappears...that'd be something! Therapeutic Living Clay and Autism . . . It was over a year ago that my brother-in-law, Bo, gave me some pre-mixed hydrated Bentonite Clay.  He explained that I could ingest it, bathe in it, wash my hair with it, give myself a facial, etc. He went on and on about this product, exclaiming how great it was and how not only does he use it on himself, but that he uses it on his two little girls, my nieces, as well.

Anyway, it wasn't until a couple of months ago while researching Autism on the internet that I came upon uses of Bentonite Clay and its claim to draw heavy metals/toxins out of the body. Since I still had the mixed clay that Bo left with me I thought that I'd attempt to put it in my nephew, Corbin's, bath the next time I was over for a visit. Corbin is six years old and he loves his baths. I soon had plans to baby-sit Corbin and decided that I would add the clay to his bath then. What transpires next is something that continues to bring tears to my eyes.

I was warned that Corbin might not get into the tub if something seems unusual about the water. Prior to filling the tub with water I selected the Goldberg Variations for him to listen to while he played on the computer. I already knew that Corbin reacted well to classical music and knew of its calming effect on him. I then filled the tub and added four fingered scoop of the hydrated clay that I rubbed together in my hands as I put my hands in the water. I was thrilled the water did not appear cloudy or suspect.  I kept the clay product near the tub in the event I could get away with adding more of it while he was bathing.

Soon Corbin is in the tub and begins to play with his "tub toys".  The Goldberg Variations are playing in the background. It wasn't but a few minutes after entering the tub that Corbin stops playing and looks directly into my eyes.  He then resumes his play. A few minutes later he looks at me again and then points upward towards some hand towels on a shelf. He says "towel please".  I am surprised by this because he usually doesn't communicate like this. I hand him the hand towel and he begins to play with it in the water.  While he is doing this I scoop up another handful of the clay mixture and begin rubbing my hands together and then slowly place my hands in the water to let the mixture dissipate again. Corbin stops what he's doing and watches my actions intently. He then looks at me and sustains his gaze. This is odd for him to look into my eyes and then to sustain it.

I'm thinking "alright, I got away with adding the clay . . .  terrific"! Then Corbin starts to play again. I ask if he'll sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star for me.  He does so perfectly.  My brother told me that he will sing to them sometimes, but I have never heard him sing. He then looks up at me and points to the clay and says "more please". This blew me away. I then call my mother and ask her to come over to see what I am witnessing. I had not been around Corbin for some time and wanted to know if this was now normal for him. Since my mother spends much more time with him I knew that she could tell me if what I was seeing was normal or not. She then experiences more of what I have been observing and tells me that he has never looked at her like this before.  She sees Corbin look into her eyes, sustain the look and say "hi Grandma". He does not look away.

When my brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Margie, arrive home we tell them of what we experienced. They seem surprised and thrilled and promise to continue to use the clay mixture in Corbin's bath.  A few weeks pass and I am over visiting again. This time both parents are there while I am there.  I add clay mixture to his bath. While Corbin is playing I add more clay mixture to his bath and both parents tell me that they have not been putting in as much clay mixture as I used.

When Corbin is done with his bath and is in his "jammies" he sees a wrapped present and asks his mother if this gift is for him.  Margie replies "no Corbin this is for mommy . . . it's for my birthday".  Corbin then picks up the gift and brings it to his mother and commences to sing Happy Birthday in its full version while never taking his eyes off his mother's face. I look at my brother wondering if this is normal and I see clearly that it is not as my brother's eyes are welled up with tears. I look over at Margie when Corbin is done singing and there are tears rolling down her face.  I look at Corbin's older sister, Kelbie, then twelve, and her mouth is gaped open.  She immediately goes into the bathroom and begins to give herself a Bentonite Clay facial. It was great!  It is at this time that I realize something has happened, something pretty powerful.

I then left town for four months, but before leaving I left with Jack and Margie several different detoxifying products I'd read about on the internet. While I was away Jack and Margie put the recommended drops in Corbin's juice and continued with the clay mixture baths, but soon the clay mixture was gone. They continued with the juice additions.

Since arriving home a month ago my brother told me that nothing has worked as well as the clay mixture. I looked locally for the clay, but can find it only in small quantities. I contacted Bo and asked him to hook me up with his source.  This weekend I will be in Austin where I will pick up a 50 lb. bucket of Bentonite Clay from your business and the fun will begin again.  I cannot wait!

We continue to try different things to help Corbin. We know that diet is extremely important and the family continues to work on this as well. This Bentonite Clay is a Godsend.

I have no doubt of the transformation that will take place with Corbin. It truly is an amazing thing to see and quite magical. T.N, US

Face Mask . . . Thanks again for the Clay, it is fantastic!  We did a face mask last night and it feels great. As for my foot, I went to the doctor and it's just an abscess caused by some sort of foreign object that I must've stepped on. Anyway, the Clay seems very well suited for this kind of problem and my foot is almost pain free and looking normal already! L.P., AUS

A Different Way to Ingest Living Clay . . . Lots of people add the Living Clay powder to their morning smoothies. I have a different way of taking it. Every afternoon I add it to my ice cream treat. I take some Rice Dream Ice Cream, about two scoops, and add two scoops of Living Clay. Then I add a splash of Almond Milk and mix it all together. It will start to thicken like pudding. I never tire of this because I change the Rice Dream flavors . . . rotating, chocolate, strawberry, coffee and banana. Yummy! J.B., TX

Living Clay and Calluses . . . I recently started playing guitar again after not playing for several years. It had been so long that my finger calluses were gone, and starting out was painful! Luckily, I got the bright idea to dip my fingertips in some Cleansing Clay Mask right after playing. I can't tell you how surprised I was. The pain went away almost immediately, and I never developed any blisters. I keep a jar in my guitar case now. - Phillip M.

Facial Scrub and Clear Skin . . . Both of my daughters love the facial scrub so I am ordering two more so we will each have our own; we had fun tonight cleansing and masking

I am beginning to see a big improvement in my daughter's skin! She also started taking apple cider vinegar (internal and external) and I think the combination of CLAY and ACV is making things happen fast!

I am envisioning my 14 year old daughter's skin clearing up and I am looking forward to writing to you with more good news soon. Not only is her skin improving but her overall confidence because she knows there is a natural alternative to acne treatment that does not have harsh side effects! Tania

The clay is great!

It's much more palatable and less gritty than some Bentonite clay I've had before, from another company. It also mixes easier, and seems to do a great cleansing job. I'm very pleased with this product, in fact I'm amazed how good it is. I'm very grateful for your cleansing clay product, which is already improving my health after only a few days. Y.S.
