Organa Mineral Drink with zeolites is an all-natural, ionic suspension of seventy-eight organic trace minerals. Organa International – History and Philosophy

The story of Organa International begins early in 1995 when Sam Curtis, the developer of Organa Mineral Drink, was sent a sample of another company's mineral drink along with a taped lecture of Dr. Joel Wallach. Mr. Curtis realized at that point it was time to start a personal program of mineral supplementation. For the next year he used a product made from the humic shale of Southern Utah. The product had a most objectionable flavor. Mr. Curtis then decided that it was time to market a good-tasting product that was natural and that contained all of the major and trace minerals that are needed by the body every day. The new product also had to meet the manufacturing standard that would maintain nature's nutritional integrity intact. After considerable experimentation, a good-tasting alternative was developed through technologically-superior leaching methods. Nutritional value was not compromised by altering nature's chemistry with heat, sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide used in other popular mineral drinks. Organa International was then formed to offer to the market a superior mineral supplement. During the summer of 1997 additional research provided the location of a more bioactive deposit of plant source minerals than was currently being used. Mr. Curtis developed a new leaching process to take advantage of the better ore and revised his equipment to accommodate the new process. In August of 1997 a distributor of health food supplements and personal care products commissioned a technician to conduct a "Brownian Movement" survey of mineral drinks currently on the market to find a drink that would make consumers continue to feel good after repeated use and which would also taste good. After testing 150 products competing with the Organa drink and having very minimal but unsatisfactory results, the Organa sample was supplied and tested. The difference in the mineral content and the individual mineral "Brownian Movement" was so striking that the technician made a video of the Organa sample under the microscope and of three representative competitor products. The contrasting difference demonstrated the principle that when Mother Nature's chemistry is not compromised and heat is not used in the manufacture of foods and body care products, a demonstrably more healthful food and body care product can be produced.

The term "Brownian Movement" refers to and is synonymous with the term "Kinetic Energy". All created things found in the physical world are vibrating at their own unique frequencies which can be measured. If an item can be placed in an aqueous solution then under special lighting and conditions of magnification (at 10,000 X or better), particles of minerals or other substances can be viewed for their "Brownian Movement". This term is also used by many in the scientific community to describe the life force of the substance under consideration. Major Attributes of Fulvic Acid

One of Nature's Most Powerful Organic Electrolytes (1)
As created by nature, organic fulvic acids are created by soil-based micro-organisms (SBO's) to make minerals and other nutrients assimilable by plants. (The SBO's consume decayed prehistoric plant matter in humate deposits and excrete the substance known as fulvic acid or acids)

The complex photosynthetic reactions -- produced in all plants -- produce the nutritional components needed for all the various parts of the plants. Muco-polysaccharides (a class of carbohydrates such as starches and cellulose) flow throughout the plant as nourishment and some of this is returned to the roots where the soil-based micro-organisms are re-nourished to produce additional Fulvic Acid which combines with minerals and other nutrients in the soil to continue the cycle. Fulvic acids are a biologically-active mixture of weak aliphatic* and aromatic organic acids which are soluble in water and all pH conditions (acidic, neutral, and alkaline). The size of fulvic acids are smaller (and of lower molecular weight) than that of humic acids, with molecular weights which range from approximately 1,500 or less. Fulvic acid is an organic natural electrolyte that can balance and energize biological properties it comes into contact with. (2) An electrolyte is a substance that is soluble in water or other appropriate medium that is capable of conducting electrical current. (3)

The power of an electrolyte has been shown in repeated tests on animal cells (giant amoebae), to be able to restore life in what researchers termed “a beautiful demonstration” and “astonishing.” When the electrolyte potential was taken away during the test, the cell ruptured and disintegrated into the surrounding fluid causing death. Upon reintroducing electrical potential the cell reconstructed and became active and healthy. (4)

It was also determined from these same studies, that similar results could be expected of the progressive weakness among humans that results from unchecked hemorrhage, overwhelming emotional stress, uncontrolled infections, unbalanced diet, prolonged loss of sleep, and surgical shock. These examples are all accompanied by a steady decrease in electrical potential that can eventually be reduced to zero at death. These studies show convincingly that that the physical well being of plants, animals, and humans is determined by proper electrical potential. (5)

Promotes Electrochemical Balance as Donor or Receptor
Fulvic acid is available at times as an electron donor and at other times as an electron acceptor, based on the cell's requirements for balance. (8) One of the reactions that occurs is always an oxidation reaction in which the chemical species loses electrons as a donor. The other reaction is a reduction in which the active species gains electrons as an acceptor. (9) A recent study of the binding of a donor molecule to fulvic acid in solution revealed direct evidence for donor-acceptor charge-transfer mechanisms. Free radicals of fulvic acid behave as electron donors or acceptors, depending upon the need for balance in the situation. (13) Fulvic acid can in the same way take part in oxidation-reduction reactions with transition metals. (14)

Fulvic acid is especially active in dissolving minerals and metals when in solution with water. The metallic minerals simply dissolve into ionic form, and disappear into the fulvic structure becoming bio-chemically reactive and mobile. Catalyzes Enzyme Reactions (22)
Fulvic acid has close association with enzymes. (23) It increases activity of enzymes, and especially influences respiratory catalysts. Fulvic acids increase the activity of several enzymes including alkaline phosphates, transaminase and invertase.

Increases Assimilation (24)
Fulvic acid metal organic complexes are of a low molecular weight (25), and because of this they are also of low molecular size, and are capable of a high degree of penetration into cells. Fulvic acid complexes and chelates are able to readily pass through semi-permeable membranes such as cell walls. Yet it is important to note that it has also been determined that fulvic acids not only have the ability to transport nutrients through cell membranes, they also have the ability to sensitize cell membranes and various physiological the membranes and various physiological functions as well. Stimulates Metabolism (27)
Fulvic acid appears to cause the genetic mechanism of plants to function at a higher level. It has been concluded that any means by which plant cells are exposed to fulvic acid can improve growth.(28) Oxygen is absorbed more intensely in the presence of fulvic acids. (29) Fulvic acid aids in penetrating roots and then quickly transports to the shoots of plants. (30) Fulvic acid relieves oxygen deficiency and increases the vital activity of cells. Fulvic acids change the pattern of the metabolism of carbohydrates, resulting in an accumulation of soluble sugars. These soluble sugars increase the pressure of osmosis inside the cell wall and enable plants to withstand wilting. Fulvic acid enhances growth and may stimulate the immune system. (31)

Detoxifies Pollutants (32)
An important aspect of humic substances is related to their sorptive interaction with environmental chemicals, either before or after they reach concentrations toxic to living organisms. (33) The toxic herbicide known as “Paraquat” is rapidly detoxified by humic substances (fulvic acids).[34] Fulvic acids have a special function with respect to the demise of organic compounds applied to soil as pesticides. (35) It has been established that fulvic acid is vital in helping to form new species of metal ions, binding with organic pollutants such as pesticides and herbicides, and catalyzing the breakdown of toxic pollutants. Radioactive substances react rapidly with fulvic acid, and only a brief time is required for equilibrium to be reached. (36) All radioactive elements are capable of reacting with fulvic acid and thus forming organo-metal complexes of different adsorptive stability and solubility.

Dissolves Silica
Fulvic acids are especially important because of their ability to complex or chelate metal ions and interact with silica. (37) It has been shown that these interactions may increase the concentrations of metal ions and silica found in water solutions to levels that are far in excess of their assumed dissolution ability. Synthesizes or Transmutes Minerals (40)
Fulvic acid complexes have the ability to bio-react one with another, and also inter-react with cells to synthesize or transmutate new mineral compounds. The transmutation of vegetal silica and magnesium to form calcium in animal and human bones is a typical example of new synthesis of minerals.

Cancer and Fulvic Acids
Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the U.S. exceeded only by heart disease. One of every four deaths in the U.S. is from cancer. Since 1990, there have been approximately 5 million cancer deaths. Overall annual costs for cancer run $107 billion per year.

Humic extracts arrest cancer growth according to medical studies.

Patients with cancer-causing tumors of the esophagus had 100% success rate in preventing tumor progression into the cancerous state when treated for two years with a humic extract solution.
Breakthrough cancer research studies supported by the National Institutes of Health clearly indicate that oxygen-containing molecules known as oxidants or free-radicals, play an important role in causing cancer and that antioxidants or free radical scavengers help suppress cancer. Humic extracts (fulvic acids) are nature's most powerful antioxidants. Pharmacological studies throughout the world have shown that various mechanisms within the humic molecular structure make it both a donor and acceptor free radical scavenger and antioxidant. Also noted are powerful superoxide dismutases (SOD's) and metalloenzymes of every conceivable kind.

While all humic extracts do not always destroy cancer cells, they generally halt their growth and spread. Sometimes tumors disappear almost immediately and spontaneously. Humic extracts are certainly cancer preventive, and it is certain that the higher the quality of humic extract, the better the ability to reverse and completely cure cancers.

Outpatient medical hospital studies on thyroid tumors, some cancerous, showed that injections with a special humic extract was 90% successful in stopping tumor growth and diminishing the size of tumors, with 80% of patients having complete cures.

It has been found that naturally-occurring humic acid preparations can stimulate the production of cytokines, including interferon-gamma, interferon-alpha, interferon-beta, and tumor necrosis factor-alpha. What this means is that a valid mechanism has been discovered, proven, and documented, whereby humic extracts are able to work with the body to selectively seek out and destroy cancer cells.

Q&A

Q: (1) The new Organa Mineral drink has two preservatives added to it. As I know you are into organic foods, etc., I am surprised that you have allowed the two preservatives added to this product. Sodium benzoate has a lot of bad press; it causes hyperactivity and when mixed with vitamin C, releases benzene -- a known carcinogen -- and damages DNA. Potassium sorbate is not as toxic but can cause allergic reactions, diarrhea and nausea.

I wonder why the manufacturer could not use a more natural preservative -- there are many available today -- or even produce the product in a more concentrated form, thus needing less or no preservative.

(2) Did the former Humic Fulvic Minerals contain preservatives? I did not see it on the label.

Thank you. I do not like to be critical in any way; however, I do like to know what goes into my body.

David: All that I can do is forward this to Sam for his feedback. We have found Sam to be completely open and honest. I know that he considers it very important to have a preservative, and I also know that he is seriously searching for a better alternative.

A serious issue we had with our previous supplier is a lack of openness and candor. We don't know if he uses a preservative or what it might be. We don't know if the mine he uses has a high inorganic content and, if so, what chemistry he would use to remove it. We do not know the percentages of the minerals in his product or even which minerals are in it. Sam advises us that there are some telltale mineral percentages that indicate inorganic minerals had to be chemically removed, but we have no way to know that regarding the previous product.

Libby has found this product (Organa) to be energetically and physically superior . . . for whatever that is worth. If Sam's answers are not satisfactory, we will just have to wish you well in locating another source.

Sam: The plain and simple truth about preservatives is that there are no natural preservatives that will completely take care of the naturally-occurring bacteria, molds and yeast that exist in the environment of our raw plant material. I have been searching diligently for years to find a preservative that meets my criteria for naturalness, organicity, no side effects or allergic tendencies. I have tried many different ways, including the use of light and electric probes, to infuse frequencies into the product to act as a growth inhibitor for the organisms in question. I have also used several micro organisms from kombucha tea to try to act as inhibitors. So far our drink is simply too nourishing to the microbes to have the desired effect. The search continues without abatement. I have basically concluded that I must make my own preservative. I am to the point that I have identified several items that work, and I am now to the point where I must find a way to get these items into a water-based system which they do not naturally want to do. At this point in time, the benzoate and sorbate are my best options. They are in the metabolic path and are acceptable throughout the food industry. Nevertheless, these items are as unacceptable to me as they are to your customer. I have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost clients and refunding clients for moldy product as I did my best to avoid these preservatives in the early years of our business. It boils down to a matter of basic survival for me. In spite of the use of these two preservatives, I still have the most effective and natural mineral drink in the marketplace today.

If someone is so concerned about the interplay between vitamin C and the benzoate, please advise them not to mix my drink with vitamin C. I may even put that caution on the label. In spite of the negatives, they will experience much better health benefits from the use of our drink than they will from the use of any other brand. I can say that because I know how they process their products.

I have worked hard and spent thousands of dollars to find the lowest effective use of these preservatives. At this point in time, our usage level is less than one-tenth of 1%. For such a small usage level, the FDA exempts me from even listing these items on my label. Due to industry's and the medical community's heavy over-use of antibiotics, many strains of bacteria, viruses, molds and yeasts are mutating resistances to antibiotics faster than science can keep up. Because of this fact, the medical community and industry generally are in a panic today and don't know how to cope with this phenomenon.

That is the skinny on our preservative situation. I hope this answers the questions on this subject. In the meantime, I am moving forward in my quest to eliminate the subject items from our product line.

Q: I am considering the use of this new product but noticed that it contains mercury, fluoride and lead, all of which are usually not considered healthy for the body. In fact, many people go to great lengths to detox them from the body. Could you please give me further information about the safety of this product in this regard?

A: We questioned our supplier about this as well. His answer is that these are in organic form, found naturally in fulvic acid in trace amounts and are utilized in a positive fashion in the body. We believe the reason Organa tests so strong and effective is because of the lesser amount of processing Organa does on the fulvic acid.

I speak only for myself but now have the impression that not all the ingredients may have been listed on the label of our former product. We only know what we are told.

Response: Mercury, lead and fluoride are usually in an organic form when they are present in fish, toothpaste and paint, etc. So I'm not so sure that this reassures me. I want to trust the product and give it a try, but my conditioning has always been to avoid these particular minerals so it is challenging to intentionally ingest them.

Sam: The mercury, lead and fluoride found as additives in various foods and medicinals like toothpaste and vaccines are not organic. In order to be separated as single items, they must necessarily begin their life as an additive in the inorganic form, mined and then refined as a single inorganic element. Fluoride is a by-product in the manufacturing process of aluminum and other items and as such is listed by the EPA as a very toxic substance that requires expensive specialized procedures to legally dispose of. Someone then decided that they could make money by putting this toxin into our water and food supply, thereby solving the disposal problem and make big bucks at the same time.

The only way any element can become organic is to first be acted upon by fulvic acid while yet in the soil, and then it must finish its transformation from inorganic to organic within a living plant. This is our great Mother Nature's process which cannot be duplicated by an arrogant scientific community. No multi-lettered, egocentric, would-be scientist can duplicate this great miracle of Nature. These natural organic elements cannot be singled out and separated from the context of the natural matrix in the fulvic acid molecule without changing and damaging the organic naturalness of the individual element and the solution in which it is found.

Any time we eat fruits or vegetables, we are eating the organic form of lead, arsenic, mercury, etc. These items and others in the periodic table of elements in their organic form are necessary for the health and well-being of all living organisms on planet earth. When these and the other elements are ingested in the inorganic form, they become toxic poisons to most all living organisms.

If they are yet in doubt after this explanation, you may try advising them to ask the Creator of all life to bless the food they eat to be healthy and good for their well-being as the Creator designed it to be before someone decided to make money by processing it to death. Hope this helps.

Q: I have some questions on the Humic Fulvic Acids. I take the Living Clay and wonder how much time would be needed between taking the Clay and the HFA. Why do you think this particular HFA is the best as I notice there are many sites selling it? How do you know it works not only on the physical level but on the subtle levels? I also read that HFA should not be taken longer than 6 months, but you say one can take it indefinitely. Please comment.

A: I would certainly leave some time in between the Clay and the HFA. The good news is that the HFA can be taken neat, meaning it does not need to be mixed with anything. It is ALWAYS best on an empty stomach, so if you could leave at least 30 minutes that will be beneficial.

In many years of dealing with many people, occasionally you come across suppliers/therapists/people in your life who have great knowledge and skill and are here to help mankind and not just make a dollar for the profit of it all. The supplier of the HFA is one of these people, and very soon Tori is going to start expanding on why the HFA is so good via our newsletters.

Hopefully you can find somebody you can trust who can test up energetically (i.e., with kinesiology, or a QXCI type machine) the frequency and vibration of this product. In that manner you will know for yourself where it stands against others. With this same sort of testing you can discern for yourself how powerful it is for the physical body as well as the subtle bodies. I am fortunate to have many people whose opinion or skills I trust (along with my own), and this is how I do my research, either in the U.S., Canada or Australia.

I certainly intend taking it for as long as I can, but like all things, it is wise not to be too dependent upon anything. I am about to take a small holiday with my daughter and in that time away, I will not take the HFA with me but rather take this time to let my body "do its own thing." - Without further fanfare, I am going to jump right in and tell you about our great fulvic / humic mineral find. Several months ago a practitioner in Austin, Texas, called to tell me about a fulvic / humic mineral drink that she uses extensively in her practice.
