Notew about the new Foaming Bottles (3-18-10)

- Speaking of excited, Paul Jolet in the production department has been trying to solve the foaming bottle problem we have all seemed to struggle with for the entire time he has been at Global Light. He has disassembled them, tried all sorts of lubricants and manipulated the little spring in them to try and make them work like you expect they should. He searched and searched for a different manufacturer with a bottle that would work reliably more than once in a row. If you have used one of these foaming bottles, you know exactly what I am talking about. Not long after you get the bottle, the pump stops coming up and you have to pull it up. Additionally, if you don't have the soap / water mix just right, it won't foam. All of that is a huge aggravation to us and to our Members. The only consolation is that when you get it right, it makes your Miracle II soap go much further and is a wonderful way to have foamy Miracle II soap available wherever water runs in your house or office.

Well, problem solved. Paul recently learned that there was a second manufacturer of that foaming-style bottle but could not get a lead to them. Quite serendipitously, Paul opened a supply catalog and there it was. We immediately got samples in, and they are better than I could imagine was possible. The spring in it is at least four times bigger and stronger and the tube going down into the soap is quite a bit larger. I put one of the samples in the kitchen and pumped out almost a whole bottle of soap just trying it over and over. Every time I walk by it, I hit the pump just to be sure it isn't a dream. This new pump is appropriately a "miracle" to go along with Miracle II soap . . . maybe this could be termed Miracle III.

- Last week we announced the availability of a new & improved Foaming Bottle, and I need to give you an update. I have been doing testing, testing and more testing of the new bottle to see if there are any circumstances where it would fail like the old model. I have found one situation where I got it to fail, and I want to share my findings. If you use the Miracle II soap at too high a concentration, you can have a problem where the pump will not easily come back up after pumping.

You should always use a dilution of the soap at a ratio of 3 or 4 parts of water to 1 part of soap. This will still produce rich foam but avoid clogging the pump action. The problem seems to be that if some of the concentrated soap gets between the two parts of the reservoir, it will create more resistance than the spring can overcome. Other factors seem to come into play like the hardness of the water in your area and how often you use the pump. As soap dries in the reservoir between the two sleeves from lack of use, it tends to crystallize and cause a problem. I should point out that, so far, I am the only one who has managed to create a failure but I wanted to give you a heads up and let you know how you can minimize the possibility. You can clear up a problem flushing out the pump mechanism with hot water and diluting the soap mixture a bit more. (We also recommend that you only fill the bottle up to the bottom of the pump mechanism rather than immersing it in soap and water.)

Usage

The ratio of water to soap is either 3 parts water to one part soap or 4 parts water to 1 part soap. If you use too much soap, your pump will not dispense foam. Also, when filling your bottle, leave a slight clearance between the top of the formulation and the bottom of the pump.

Miracle II, Colloidal Silver and a Foamy Bottle . . . Your Miracle II Soap is so awesome. My mom gave me some, along with some Colloidal Silver and a Foaming Bottle. We mix 1/2 soap, 1/2 colloidal silver to make our own anti-bacterial soap. We have a newborn and are constantly washing our hands. Also, we had kitchen pans with grease built up on them. Mom said Miracle II Soap would clean anything, so we tried it on the pans and with a very small amount of scrubbing, the grease came right off and they look brand new! S.E., TX
